August 28th, 2019 - By NBC12 Newsroom | August 27, 2019 at 4:46 PM EDT - Updated August 27 at 11:49 PM NEW KENT, Va. (WWBT) - New Kent County Public Schools were targeted by ransomware that encrypted the school district’s files and demanded payment for them to be unlocked.
